Once again Senior Scribe Poet Laureate Lois Wilson is on top of the
season with her insightful look at the important events of the day.
Once again it’s politics. Once again it’s a gestation that’s been 30
years in the making. Wilson offers her take on the possible culmination
of the candidate’s long planned plans… with a great hurrah? Or fears?
With only a few days to go to Election Day, the voters will decide.
Oh well.
Wilson's completed set - five volumes - of published poetry is
available and is offered as a fundraiser for the Darke County
Scholarship Fund. Some editions are running low, said put in your
request soon. A sixth edition is currently at the printer. Enjoy great
poetry and help a local youngster attend college. For additional

She’s in a political honeymoon
And it’s not likely to end very soon.
With womb full of lies, corruption and greed,
Could her state be nurturing a bad seed?
Gestation has lasted for thirty years.
The nation awaits the birth with great fears.
Wonders—will it bring cheers, or jeers and tears.
