Darke County Senior Scribe
Fund Raiser Faux Pas
By Lois Wilson

Once again Senior Scribe Poet Laureate Lois Wilson is on top of the season with her insightful look at the important events of the day.

Once again it’s politics. Once again it’s a Hillary “Faux Pas.” Wilson offers her take on the candidate’s latest Oops… The media loved it and played with it. But the pundits were quick to say, “Go after the candidates, not their supporters.”

Oh well.

Wilson's completed set - five volumes - of published poetry is available and is offered as a fundraiser for the Darke County Scholarship Fund. Some editions are running low, said put in your request soon. A sixth edition is currently at the printer. Enjoy great poetry and help a local youngster attend college. Fund Raiser Faux Pas

A-tisket, A tasket,
Hillary smeared a basket.
She told a story to the crowd
And by the play she flopped it.
She flopped it, she flopped it.
And by the play she flopped it.
A TV station aired it loud
And put it on its docket.
