Hi, all!!!
Who killed Abraham Lincoln?
Who killed John F. Kennedy?
Who killed Lee Harvey Oswald?
Who killed Sharon Tate?
Who killed John Lennon?
Who were the shooters at the 1999 Columbine High Massacre?
Who was the shooter at Sandy Hook Elementary School 2012?
Who was the shooter at Virginia Beach 2019?
Who was the shooter at Virginia Tech with 33 dead?
Who was the shooter at Noblesville W Middle School?
Who was the shooter at the Boston Marathon 2013?
Who was the Orlando Shooter 2016?
Who shot President Regan?
Who shot President McKinley?
Who shot President Ford?

Before I give you the answers to the above questions - I have some comments. You knew the comments were coming - right?

I have a growing concern for our society - as a whole...maybe "hole?" A few of the above questions were a part of the school curriculum - a part of history. And most probably the people that are answers to some of the above questions were named to show that you will be caught if you commit a crime. And you will be punished for committing said crime. But, I'm not sure that's true today.

As in the case of the Noblesville West Middle School shooter - the shooter came back to class with two guns. He was 13...13!!! What has went wrongly with our society that a 13 year old believes shooting is the answer? He said he did it because the girl would not go out with him. He had two...two..guns.

With all of the social media outlets - have we moved from holding the law-breakers up as examples of what will happen when you break the law to some sort of glory for them?

The Orlando Shooter of 2016 said he had just joined ISIS. He opened fire in a gaming casino on a Sunday. It was easy to see he brought the gun with him. It was a Sunday. That's pre-planning...pre-meditation.

Have we tipped the scales too far in the wrong direction? If this is a case of "equal air tine" for the news...have we gone too far?

Have we - as a society - become so drawn to a "time of fame" that we'll take it even if it's against the law?? Have we forgotten that it takes the people "behind the scenes" to make this thing we call "life" work?? Had there been no casino open - where would the Orlando Shooter have emptied his gun?

And most importantly - what are we teaching the kiddies by example??

Answers to the above questions:
John Wilkes Booth gets the credit for killing Abraham Lincoln.
Credit goes to Lee Harvey Oswald for killing John F. Kennedy.
Jack Raby takes credit for killing Lee Harvey Oswald. Most people
praised Ruby - "It had to be done."
Sharon Tate was killed by followers of Charles Manson.
Mark David Chapman gets credit for killing John Lennon.
Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold share credit for the 1999 Columbine
     High School Massacre.
Adam Lanza gets credit for the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary
     School shooting.
Credit for the Virginia Beach shooting goes to Dwayne Craddock.
The Virginia Tech Shooting - leaving 33 dead and billed as the
deadliest shooting...gives credit to Sueng-Hou Cho.
The Noblesville West Middle School shooter was a minor at the
time. I'll respect that and not print his name.
The Boston Marathon Shooter splits credit between three guys -
Chochon Kyigzstani,  Dzhokla and Tamerich Tsarnaev.
Omar Mateen takes the credit for the Orlando shootings.
Credit for shooting Ronald Regan goes to John Hinckley, Jr.
Leon Czolgosz takes the credit for shooting President McKinley.
Sara Jane Moore was given credit for shooting President Ford.

Again - read through these. See a pattern? Notice names like ISIS and Charles Manson. Is allegiance to someone or some group so critical that some sort of "proof" needs to be shown? Is there no other "proof" than a gun??

Remember the kiddies and our service people. Take good care of the furry and feathered ones out there. Be safe and healthy. See ya next time. Ever Toodles!!     MONA
