In game two the Varsity girls won 39-34 in a game that started out with the Lady Railroaders taking a comfortable lead at half time 21-9. The Railroaders came out sluggish in the second half against a Panther team that clawed their way back into the match. Bradford scored only 2 points from the floor in the third quarter but put in six points from the foul line. The Roaders never relinquished the lead but let the Panthers get as close as 4 in the fourth period.

Don’t let anyone tell you that basketball games aren’t won from the foul line. The railroaders scored 23 points from the field and 16 from the foul line.

Leading the way for the Lady Railroaders was Haley Patty with 12 points. Other scoring was Chelsey Broughman 9, Michayla Barga 7, Bree Bates 6, Alisha Patty 3 and Payton Schuff 2.

The Lady Railroaders Reserve won the opening game 29-25.
