V-Tigers emerge with lone play-off spot

The final week of the season saw three Darke County teams looking for a play-off berth.

By nights end, only Versailles emerged as the lone play-off team. The Tigers, 7-3, popped 1-9 St. Henry, 55-28. The Tigers will travel to Frankfort, Ohio next week to play 9-1 Adena.

Greenville ended its season on a two game winning streak to finish at 5-5 with a 34-28 victory over Goshen. The Wave won five of their last six regular season games.

Arcanum fell by the wayside with 34-02 loss to 10-0 Covington, eliminating the Trojans fron any post season play. Covington finished undefeated ,10-0, and will host, 7-3, Coldwater next week in tournament action.

Ansonia needed a win but lost to Tri-County North (See full game story). Mississinawa Valley never got that elusive first win of the seaon, finishing 0-10, falling to Bethel 56-0.
