Lady Hawks win again

Mallory Livingston had 12 kills and 17 digs to lead Mississinawa Valley to a three game Cross County Conference match win over Bradford Thursday, 25-10, 25-12 and 25-11.

“Our girls played a nice game, holding Bradford to 33 points on the evening. The win was a total team effort, with 12 girls seeing action,” said Lady Hawks Coach Scott Brewer. “It was nice to see Chelsie get some quality kills and 5 blocks. Haley really contributed with 8 Kills and 4 blocks.

“We will play cross town rival Union City at 10:00 at Mississinawa Valley,” he added.

Helping to pave the way for the win was Hope Neargardner 19 assists, 7 Kills, 11 digs, 16 points and 2 aces; Victoria Humphries 11 assists, 14 points; Shelby Rehmert 12 digs, 2 Kills; Maddie Murphy 17 digs, 2 aces; Chelsie Saintgnon 3 kills, 5 Blocks and Haley Cox 8 Kills, 4 blocks.
 
The Hawks junior varsity also won, going the distance in three games.
