Powers resigns
With the rumor mill running rampant in the circles of Greenville
athletics for over a month, two sources close to CNO sports have said
that Greenville Athletic Director T.J. Powers has resigned from
Greenville.
According to these same two sources, Powers will be heading to Arcanum
as the new head football coach for the Trojans.
“It’s a shame that we (Greenville) can’t keep our own alumni,” said one
of the sources. “T.J. is the third person to leave Greenville in the
last year plus who graduated from Greenville.”
Powers has had success as the Wave football coach, producing winners
over the last few years and has had teams that had tournament potential.
Arcanum will hold its school board meeting tonight at 7 p.m.
