Trojan wrestlers fare well in tri-meet

TIPP CITY- The Arcanum wrestling team lost two matches Thursday in a Tri meet in Tipp City.

Arcanum, with seven wrestlers, held their own against solid teams. In the end, the Trojans fell to Lima Sr. 42-29 and Tipp City, 57-22.

"What more can I ask for," said Arcanum coach Andy Marker. "We wrestled seven against Tipp City and won six of the matches we wrestled. We gave up 36 points in forfeits. If you take that away we dominated the meet. Against Tipp City, we gave up 42 points in forfeits. Take that away and we win that meet also. The kids are really starting to come on and understand what we need to get done to be successful."

Arcanum will return to Tipp City on Saturday, December 29 to participate in the Tipp Holiday Tournament.

Arcanum Results:
