Thursday sports postponed
Darke County- The winter storm that dropped 11 inches of snow in Darke
County brought the postponement of many high school sporting events
Thursday.
The biggest of those events saw the undefeated Tri-Village Lady
Patriots playing at Miami East.
That game will now be played on Saturday, January 5 with the junior
varsity tipping off at noon.
The Franklin Monroe Lady Jets were to play at Twin Valley South
Thursday, but that game will now be played at 11 a.m. on the 5th of
January.
The WOHSBC matches for Thursday will also be contested on the original
bowling lanes on January 5 as well. The boys teams will start at 2 p.m.
at Speedway Lanes in New Bremen while the girls will start at 3 p.m. at
Northland Lanes in Lima.
