survive Covington
T-V still undefeated
NEW MADISON – The Tri-Village Lady Patriots continued their winning
ways Thursday surviving a huge scare from Covington in Cross County
Conference play.
Led by seniors Teha Richards and Shaye Thomas with 12 points each, the
Patriots held off a stubborn bunch of Buccs to claim a 49-45 victory.
Echo Brown chipped in with 10 points of her own in the winning effort.
The win over Covington was the first in a stretch of very critical
games that will see the Patriots play at home today against MAC power,
New Bremen, starting at noon.
The Patriots are now 7-0 on the season.
Also on Thursday, the Bradford Lady Railroaders topped Twin Valley
South, 41-36.
