V-Tigers get
big honors
United Way Fundraiser Registration
VERSAILLES- Versailles seniors Zack Niekamp (Short Stop) and Ethan
Bruns (Third Base) were named first team all MAC recently. In addition,
Tigers coach Mitch Hoying was named Coach of the Year in the conference.
Also, Niekamp was named second team all MAC as a pitcher. Lee Kindell,
Dominic and Damian Richard were second team in the MAC as position
players.
Along with the boys, sophomore infielder Kayla McEldowney and junior
infielder Madison Monnin, were named first team all MAC in softball.
Senior Danielle Langston was a second team all MAC player while Miranda
Huddle was honorable mention.
Registration
for United Way open
DARKE COUNTY- The Darke County United Way coed softball tournament,
scheduled for July 7-8 at Stebbins Field in Greenville is now open for
registration.
The two day event will benefit non-profit programs in Darke County.
To enter a team, call Shawn Shaffer at 548-3854 or the Darke County
United Way at 547-1272. Cost for each team is $200 before June 20 and
$250 after that date.
Registration costs are tax deductable.
