Darke County Schools will be in action either tonight or Saturday.

starts tonight
Abbreviated schedule both nights
DARKE COUNTY- The 2012-13 boys basketball season will tip-off tonight
with an abbreviated schedule on tap.
In New Madison, the Tri-Village Patriots has unfinished business to
attend to this season.
Coming off a great season that ended in the district title game to West
Liberty Salem, the Patriots journey begins tonight as Tri-Village will
host Mississinawa Valley in a CCC contest.
Also Friday, Greenville entertains Miamisburg while the Ansonia Tigers
will welcome Franklin Monroe. In the meantime, Covington will invade
Arcanum for the Trojans home opener.
Saturday will see the Wave heading north to visit Ft. Recovery while
the Versailles Tigers will get their season underway, traveling to
Celina.
Tri-Village plays host to National Trail in a boys/girls double dip,
starting at 3 p.m. This will also be the Patriots Hall of Fame night as
Kara Schlechty, Kent Hofacker and Mike Stump will be inducted.
Also on Saturday, Ansonia will hit the road to Ft. Loramie while the
Trojans will not play Saturday but will welcome in Troy Christian.
The first game of The Hub City will feature Union City at Mississinawa
Valley.
Also on Saturday, the Greenville wrestlers will travel to Brookville to
participate in the Brookville Duels while the Versailles grapplers are
in the Sidney Duels.
Versailles will host its first meet of the season on December 4 with
Mechanicsburg.
Arcanum and Bradford have yet to post their winter schedules.
