Jonathan Broxton, Reds Reportedly Agree on Multi-Year Deal

Looking to maintain their dominance in the National League, the Cincinnati Reds made a move that will help them do just that.

According to CBS Sports' Jon Heyman, the Reds have reached a multi-year deal with reliever Jonathan Broxton. Broxton deal with the Reds is three years, $21M. Also the club has an option for 2016. Salaries of $4M-$7M-$9M, with $1M buyout on $9M option.

The righty was a viable reliever in 2012, coming out of the pen for the Reds and the Kansas City Royals, pitching to a 4-5 record with 27 saves and a 2.48 ERA.
