In Friday's league match, the host St. John's Bluejays football squad scored a close 20-18 victory over the Versailles Tigers.

In their next game, the Bluejays clash with the New Bremen Cardinals (New Bremen, OH) in a Midwest Athletic match, on Friday, October 19. St. John's will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 2-6 record after their 21-13 league loss to Anna (Anna, OH).

The Tigers (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Minster (Minster, OH). The Wildcats enter the Midwest Athletic match with a 6-2 record. In their last match, Minster held off Fort Recovery (Fort Recovery, OH), 28-6, in a league match.

(October 12, 2012: Piqua, OH 45356) Piqua Indians (Piqua, OH) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team nudge the visiting Greenville Green Wave (Greenville, OH), 38-33 in a league test.

With the win, Piqua improves its record to 4-4 on the season. The Indians travel to Butler (Vandalia, OH) to confront the Aviators in a Greater Western Ohio - North test on Friday, October 19. The Aviators go into the test with a record of 5-3. Butler won 35-6 in their recent league test against Sidney (Sidney, OH)

With the loss, Greenville moves to 1-7 on the season. The Green wave host Troy (Troy, OH) to confront the Trojans in a Greater Western Ohio - North test on Friday, October 19. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 3-5. Troy lost 42-14 in their recent league test against Trotwood-Madison (Trotwood, OH)

Arcanum sneaks past Mississinawa Valley

(October 12, 2012: Union City, OH 45390) The Arcanum Trojans football squad scored 25 points and restricted the host Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks to 20 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.

The Trojans now possess a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bethel for a Cross County battle on Friday, October 19. Arcanum will face a Bees squad coming off a 38-18 league win over Ansonia (Ansonia, OH). The Bees record now stands at 3-5.

Next up, the Blackhawks meet the Bradford Railroaders (Bradford, OH) in a Cross County challenge, on Friday, October 19. Mississinawa Valley will attempt to better on its 0-8 season record. The Railroaders come into the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 33-14 league loss to Miami East (Casstown, OH).

(October 12, 2012: Tipp City, OH 45371) The Ansonia Tigers football team (Ansonia, OH), was knocked off 38-18 in Friday's league challenge with the host Bethel Bees (Tipp City, OH)

The Bees (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Arcanum (Arcanum, OH). The Trojans come into the Cross County challenge with a 3-5 record. In their last challenge, Arcanum knocked off Mississinawa Valley (Union City, OH), 25-20, in a league challenge.

The Tigers now sport a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they host Covington for a Cross County challenge on Friday, October 19. Ansonia will meet a Buccs team coming off a 84-6 league win over National Trail (New Paris, OH). The Buccs record now stands at 8-0.
