DARKE COUNTY- It was just a week ago when Bradford was the only team in Darke County that was in the OHSAA prep football post season.

Last week, the Railroaders upended Tri-County North by a single point, 35-34.
The win allowed Bradford to hold on to the fifth spot in the D-VI Region 24 computer polls this week. Minster took over the fourth spot after Jefferson fell to seventh.

The Wildcats hold an overall computer average of 6.9667 while the Roaders came in with a 6.9333, a difference of a mere .0334, which means if the season ended after six weeks, Bradford would travel to Minster for a first round play-off game.

In the D-V, Region 20 poll, the Versailles Tigers moved into the seventh spot after thumping Parkway a week ago. Last week, the Tigers were on the outside looking in, ranked 11th in the computer. Now, the Tigers would play Covington in the first round if the season were to end now.

Granted, there are still four more games left to be played.

Friday, the Roaders will travel to Arcanum to play the Trojans while Versailles will host New Breman.

In other games to be played Friday, Ansonia, (0-6), will host Mississinawa Valley, (0-6). Greenville (1-5) will travel to Trotwood to play the Rams.
