Versailles
takes fifth in Coldwater Invite
Prakel the best of the boys
COLDWATER- Versailles senior Sam Prakel did his usual thing by winning
the Coldwater Invitational last Thursday. Prakel, one of the top
distance runners in the state, finished the 5k run in 15:34.05.
That time was over 30 seconds better than the second place finish of
Jared Fleming of Van Wert. Fleming crossed in a time of 16:07.99.
Final team scores saw Van Wert finish first, taking second, third and
sixth in the top 10.
Minster and Coldwater took second and third while the Tigers were fifth
overall.
In the girls competition, Clohe Warvel finished 13th overall for the
Tigers.
As a team, Versailles took fourth behind Coldwater, Minster and Ft.
Loramie.
