Versailles still in the hunt

The weekly computer rankings from the OHSAA reveled if the season were to end after five weeks of play, the lone Darke County team to make the post season would be Bradford.

After a 48-14 victory over Ansonia last week, the Railroaders remained in the fifth spot behind the Jefferson Broncos.

Jefferson has a 3-2 record and a 5.1 average while the Roaders are 4-1 overall with a 5.0 average.

A week ago, Minster held the fourth spot but fell to seventh this week with a 3-2 record and a 4.4 overall average.

Bradford will host Tri-County North Friday.

The Versailles Tigers find themselves on the outside looking in this week.

Versailles cracked the top 12 with its win over Maron Local and is ranked 11th. In the eighth spot is Madison-Plains London. After the fifth week, Madison-Plains 5.65 while the Tigers has an average of 5.30.
