MINSTER — The Versailles boys golf team finished one stroke behind
Minster to finish as the runner up at the Cardinal Invitational Tuesday
at Arrowhead Golf Course in Minster.
Versailles shot a 321 to finish only behind Minster, who shot a 320 to
win the tournament. Russia shot a 338, Wapakoneta shot a 340, St. Marys
shot a 344, Anna shot a 362, Lehman Catholic shot a 363, Botkins shot a
364, Fremont St. Joe shot a 367, New Bremen shot a 368, Fort Loramie
shot a 379, Jackson Center shot a 416, Houston shot a 419, and New
Knoxville shot a 448.
Tyler Drees led Versailles as he shot a three-over-par 75 with a 37 on
the front nine and a 38 on the back nine. Also for the Tigers, Ryan
Knapke shot a 78, Mitchell Stover shot a 79, Alex Stucke shot an 89,
Griffen Riegle shot a 95, and Jacob Watren shot a 97.
