Wave tennis drops 3-2 decision to
Miamisburg
The
Greenville girls tennis team lost 3-2 to
Miamisburg Tuesday in Greenville.
At
first singles Greenville’s Sophia
Navas-Davis lost to Carly Sickenger 6-1, 6-7, 6-4. In second singles
Michelle
Borgerding beat Mikaela Hindenlang 6-1, 6-3. The Lady Wave’s Raquel
Navas-Davis
lost to Jada Strickland 6-4, 1-6, 6-3.
In
first doubles Greenville’s Madison Bixler
and Abby Monnin beat Chelsea Hohenbrick and Amy Cox 6-4, 1-6, 6-1. At
second
doubles the Lady Wave’s Rachel Britsch and Holly Cameron lost to
Mackenzie
Maxwell and Melissa Mahan 6-3, 6-3.
With
the loss, Greenville fell to 1-1 on the
season.
