Tri-Village and Versailles ranked in top 10

The Tri-Village Lady Patriots and the Versailles Lady Tigers were both ranked in the top 10 this week in the AP's statewide polls.

In D-IV, the Patriots were ranked third overall with a 15-1 record behind Ottoville and Berlin Hiland.

Versailles is ranked eighth in Division III by the AP. The Lady Tigers are ranked behind Smithville, Archbold, Firchwood North Union, Proctorville Fairland, Columbus Africentric, Orrville and Gates Mills Gilmour.

Below is how a state panel of sports writers and broadcasters rates Ohio high school girls basketball teams in the fourth of seven weekly Associated Press polls, by OHSAA divisions, with won-lost record and total points (first-place votes are in parentheses):
