Arcanum hangs
loss on Newton
Jets Grounded by Coldwater
PLEASANT HILL- Freshman Rebecca Deao scored 22 while junior Abby
O'Donnell added 16 as the Arcanum Lady Trojans trounced Newton in the
Tee Pee, 49-35.
The Cross County Conference victory was the second straight for the
Trojans after excaping with a victory over Ansonia last Thursday, 45-36.
Arcanum will host Bethel tonight in another CCC battle.
Jets grounded in the Hangar
PITSBURG- Holding a slim 23-22 lead early in the third quarter,
the Franklin Monroe Lady Jets couldn't maintain that lead, losing to
Coldwater Tuesday, 55-41 in the Hangar.
According to FM coach Gavin Spitler, his team lost focus as the Jets
trailed by 10 ond often more late in the game.
Jets senior Taylor Robins netted 16 while Claire Neiswander added in in
support.
Franklin Monroe will travel to Tri-Village tonight in a Cross County
Conference game.
