DARKE COUNTY - With the exception of Bradford and Greenville, all Darke County girls basketball teams will be back in action.

Coming off the long Christmas break, many teams will be seeing action for the first time since school was dismissed in December.

The Tri-Village Lady Patriots will look to remain undefeated tonight as the Pats will travel to National Trail and a tough date with the Blazers.

These two teams met December 1 at The Battleground with the Patriots pulling off the 47-46 victory.

In that game, Tri-Village trailed 36-33 going in to the final frame.

At that point, it was the first big test for the Patriots as they were 3-0 after the victory.

In other games to be contested tonight, the Cross County Conference will pit Miami East at Ansonia and Mississinawa Valley at Twin Valley South.

The marquee game on the night will see the Arcanum Trojans doing battle at Franklin Monroe.

These two teams met in the first round of the Bill Burkett in November with the Jets winning in run away fashion. Arcanum is riding a four game winning streak and will look to make it five tonight.

All CCC games will start at 5:30 p.m.

Also on the court tonight, the Versailles Lady Tigers will look to get back on the winning side of the ledger at Parkway.

The Tigers suffered their first loss of the season, losing to Ft. Loramie on December 29, 56-54.

That game is a 6 p.m. start.

In wrestling action, the Greenville grapplers will travel to Versailles tonight with the opening match set for 6:30 p.m.
