Linkous steps into Immortality: It was this bucket with 3:59 remaining in the first half of the Lady Patriots
game with Mississinawa Valley Thursday that propelled Patriot senior Kayla Linkous onto a list that until now had
been occupied by just two other people. Linkous joined the 2,000 point scored, 1,000 rebound club in the state of Ohio.

CNO offers a new fundraiser for local sports lovers

County News Online has launched a new fundraising offer for local sports lovers. CNO Sports Editor George Starks and Sports Photographer Dylan Knoop are making their game photos available in high resolution format in return for your donations.

Check them out under the Sports tab: “Get Your Favorite Sports Photo Here.”

Not only can you get your favorite photo for a small donation - $5 each – you can get the game story that went with it where available. For example, the top sports story of last year was Kayla Linkous getting her 2,000th point that propelled her into the history books. You can get George’s photo plus the game story that he wrote with it in a downloadable pdf format suitable for full color printing in high resolution.

Already posted are nearly 100 photos with more to be added on a regular basis as we head deeper into the basketball and wrestling seasons, then into spring sports.

Packages are available as well as individual photos and game stories. Check them out and consider making a donation. You’ll be helping a teen go to college and getting printable versions of your favorite photos.
