Wave tracksters place at regionals

DAYTON- Two Greenville girls placed in the top eight in the girls pole vault to earn spots on the podium Friday night in an Ohio High School Athletic Association Division I regional track and field meet at Dayton’s Welcome Stadium.

Junior Paige Keller placed sixth in the girls pole vault with a vault of 10 feet 6 inches while junior Harmony Kolling tied for eighth place with a vault of 10 feet.

Greenville senior Emily Hayes also competed Friday night, finishing 15th in the girls 800-meter run with a time of 2:27.95.

On Wednesday Greenville senior Tara Guillozet placed 12th in the girls high jump with a jump of 4 feet 10 inches, and Green Wave senior Tyler Neff finished 14th in the boys 300-meter hurdles with a time of 41.78.

The Greenville girls earned 3.5 points in the regional meet, finishing 29th in the region.

With the regional results, all of the Greenville track and field athletes have concluded their seasons.
