Ansonia to be
represented in senior showcase

Three Ansonia boys will get one more chance to take their talents to
the hardwood today as Derek Kiser, Luke Kimmel and Logan Moody will
participate in the Indiana vs. Ohio High School All Star Basketball
Games.
Ansonia coach Derrick Barga said of his kids, "I think this is great
because they get to play together one more time together."
The Indiana vs. Ohio all-star games will feature three girls games and
four boys games and will be played Saturday at East Jay Middle School
gymnasium in Portland, Ind.
The girls games will be at 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., and the boys games
will follow at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Ansonia boys will play in
game seven at 2:30 p.m.
Kaiser, Kimmel and Moody will be on the Ohio Red 7 team along with
Miami Valley’s Brandon Watson, Harrison Smith, and Ja’Vawn Marbury,
Mechanicsburg’s Brandon Purk and Dean Hill, Minford’s Brandon Rowe and
Kenton Guillion, Lake’s Connor Bowen, Tuscarawas Valley’s Jordan
Felgenhauer, Bethel’s Patrick Bain and Bishop Fenwick’s Frank Catrine
An all-day pass for the games costs $8 for adults and $5 for children.

Directions to Portaland from Greenville is simple.
Take 49 North to 47 West and follow into Union City. From there, take
28 North to Portland. East Jay Middle School is located in downtown
