Rain moves in
to halt Night One of Traxxas TORC event at Eldora
Saturday Night Leg
of Off-Road Baja Style Truck Racing Not Affected
ROSSBURG, OH (May 10) – Rain and a developing storm system to the
southwest that moved into the region early Friday afternoon (May 10)
have brought a halt to the Preliminary Night of the Traxxas TORC (The
Off Road Challenge) Championship Series event at Eldora Speedway.
The cancellation has not affected Saturday’s program, which will
feature four classes of off road truck racing on a specially built
baja-style course on Eldora’s high-banked .500-mile clay oval.
Practice is slated for 3 p.m. on Saturday; followed by an autograph
session at 6:15 p.m. The first race, incorporating double jumps
and the table-top jump, will take the green flag at 7:30 p.m.
Patrons with Friday night tickets will be able to use them for the
Saturday show.
