County when volleyball sectionals start.

Darke County teams learn their sectional
foes
DARKE COUNTY- Sectional volleyball pairings were posted recently on
swdab.org for the districts sectional pairings.
At the time of the draw, the Versailles Tigers went in as the top seed
in the D-II Brookville sectional.
Sporting an 18-2 mark, the Tigers opted to take the opening round bye
and will play the winner of the Houston-National Trail match.
The Tigers will play on Tuesday, October 15 at 6 pm.
Also at the D-III level, 9-10 Mississinawa Valley till be forced to
contend with 15-5 Milton Union this Saturday, starting at 12:30 pm.
Also on Saturday, 7-14 Arcanum will take on 10-9 West Liberty Salem in
a 2 pm scheduled start.
Both the Trojans and Blackhawks will play at Brookville.
At the D-II sectional at Tecumseh, 7-13 Greenville will square off
against 15-5 Shawnee, the three seed in that sectional.
The Wave is scheduled to play at 6 pm on Monday, October 14.
At the D-IV level in Troy, 12-8 Tri-Village will battle 5-16 Bethel at
6:30 on Wednesday, October 16.
In Tipp City on Wednesday, October 16, Ansonia (7-13) will take on
Bradford in a battle of two county schools starting at 7:30.
Three days later in Tipp City, October 19, Franklin Monroe will be in
action against the winner on the Cedarville-Mechanicsburg game. The
Jets will get their chance starting at 2:30. This will be a Saturday
match-up.
