Area teams not looking good after third week

It was Hall of Fame night in Covington Friday and the Buccs feasted on a meal of fried Blackhawks, whipping up on MV, 56-0.

The Buccaneers remained undefeated with a 3-0 record (2-0 CCC).

With the loss, Mississinawa Valley fell to 0-3 on the season and will host Tri-County North Friday.

Wave still winless

Greenville lost by a score of 50-21 to the Lebanon Warriors.

They will hit the road again in week four as they head to West Carrollton next Friday in a GWOC cross over game. Greenville will look for its first win on the season over the Pirates.

Arcanum not much for North Panthers

Arcanum hit the road Friday night looking for its second win of the season but fell short, dropping a 54-24 decision to Tri-County North.

Arcanum got three scores late in the game but by then it was too little, too late for Arcanum.

Arcanum, 1-2 (0-2), will host powerhouse, Miami East Friday.

In other games, Ansonia fell to Miami East 49-0 while Versailles dropped a 31-6 decision to Coldwater to go to 0-3 while Bethel topped Bradford 28-6 putting the Roaders at 1-2 overall.
