Wave Girl’s Golf Results
The Lady Wave golf team ends August with a record of 4 wins, 4 losses
and participation in 3 invitational tournaments. The team during the
month of September they will face: Piqua, Winchester, Union,
Springfield, Vandalia/Butler, Troy, Fairmont, Miamisburg, Wayne and end
the season with the GWOC tournament at Beechwood Golf Course.
On Wednesday, September 4, the Lady Wave Golf team defeated Piqua 187
to 223. The individual scores for Greenville were: Jenelle Agne shot a
46; Jen Murray shot a 46; Sierra Riffle shot a 46, Casey Mortensen shot
a 49 and Kayli Duncan shot a 57. Coach Tracy Haines commented: “….this
was the first time this season the girls were under 200 and the first
time that Casey Mortensen broke 50! It was a great day on the golf
course.”
With two wins on Thursday, September 5, the Lady Wave golf team record
for the season improved to 7 wins and 4 losses, plus participation in 3
invitational golf tournaments. The team traveled to Winchester Golf
Course for a dual match with Winchester and Union. The Lady Wave team
shot 200, Winchester shot 217 and Union shot 223. Scores for the Wave
players were: Jenelle Agne shot a 42; Jen Murray shot a 49; Sierra
Riffle shot a 54, Kayli Duncan shot a 55 and Casey Mortensen shot a 57.
