Tickets for Eldora Speedway events on sale Monday
No Increase in Ticket Pricing Coupled with 2013 Parity of Competition Prompts Unprecedented Interest

ROSSBURG, OH (February 7) – Starting Monday (February 10) Eldora Speedway fans will be able to purchase tickets and campsites for every race meet on the aggressive 2014 schedule.  Since early December, the ticketing department has been filling orders for the time-honored major events, 20thannual Dirt Late Model Dream (June 5-6-7), 31st annual Kings Royal (July 11 & 12), 2nd Annual 1-800 CarCash Mudsummer Classic for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (July 23) and 44th annual World 100 (September 4-5-6) at a record pace.   That tempo will pick up starting 9 a.m. Monday as tickets for the balance of the highly-anticipated season become available, with no increase in pricing, for purchase.

Ticketing manager Tess Thwaits encourages fans to use www.EldoraSpeedway.com as the fastest way to get their choice of seats and to complete their purchase.

“We always want fans to take advantage of the proven TicketForce-prepared design for easy and quick purchasing.  The TicketForce system has been in place for several years and has demonstrated its ability to process a huge volume of orders simultaneously while being extremely user-friendly,” commented Thwaits, the granddaughter of Eldora founders Earl and Berniece.  “We know that some fans prefer to call in, so we will have a full staff of agents in-house and ready to answer the box office hotline of (937) 338-3815 during normal business hours, and the speedway box office will be open for walk-in orders.”

Parity of competition, regardless of division or sanctioning body, became the buzz word in 2013 and that has prompted an unprecedented interest among race fans coming into 2014.

“Without a doubt, Steve Kinser’s announcement that 2014 will be his final year chasing the World of Outlaws (WoO) STP Sprint Car Series championship has created a stir and Kings Royal tickets are selling at a record pace,” stated Eldora General Manager Roger Slack.   “But it doesn’t stop there.  Whether it’s the Johnny Appleseed Classic (May 25) prior to the Dirt Late Model Dream weekend or the Ohio Sprint Speedweek (June 21) prior to the Kings Royal, every race on Eldora’s unique schedule leads into a major event and the fans have come to realize that drivers value the track time that can be gathered.”

Special events hosting the premier series in dirt racing make up the 28 race schedule.  Fans will witness the stars of the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Cars, UMP DIRTcar Super Late Models and Modifieds, the United States Auto Club’s (USAC) Silver Crown, National Sprint Car Series and National Midget Car Series, the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions and the United States Hot Rod Association’s (US Hot Rod) Monster Jam series.  The regional BOSS non-wing Sprints will join May’s Mobil 1 $8 Family Fun Night and Fireworks Spectacular plus Eldora’s Modified and Stock divisions will be contesting their season championship from April through October.
