Softball registration dates set

GREENVILLE - The Greenville Girls Softball Association has begun registration for the 2014 season. Applications have been released through Greenville City Schools as well as area pre-schools, private schools, YMCA, and The Greenville Public Library.

GGSA Sign-Up Days are scheduled for March 8, 15 and 22 at Stebbins Field from Noon-2:30 p.m. in Greenville. GGSA officers will be available during the sign-up days to answer any questions concerning the upcoming season.

Applications will be available in the concession stand during all three sign-up days.

Important GGSA dates include, March 22 (fast pitch applications due), March 28 (slow pitch due), March 29 (team draw). "Meet the Team" sponsored by State Farm Insurance/Lisa Cano-Mote is set for April 5 in the Youth Building at the Darke County Fairgrounds. The 42nd Annual GGSA Opening Day is set for May 3 at Stebbins Field in Greenville.

The Greenville Girls Softball Association, Inc. is a 501(3)(C) non-profit organization that was founded in 1972. We are dedicated to providing recreational softball activities for over 500 girls in Greenville and surrounding areas. GGSA offers all Darke County girls Slow-Pitch & Fast-Pitch softball for ages 4 to 19.
