Stinger’s
Basketball is happy to announce that we will be holding youth camps
over the 2014 summer. These camps will a great place for local young
basketball players who are looking to improve their skills, work
hard, and have fun playing basketball! Campers will develop all of
their basketball skills - shooting, passing, ball handling,
rebounding and team offense & defense.
Camps are
designated for
boys and girls separately based on age groups to ensure the proper
level skills development and drills. These camps will be for 1st –
8th grade.
Open to
ALL kids from ALL
Schools Districts.

Girls
Camp will be held on
July 23-25.
Boys Camp
will be held on
July 30-Aug 1.
Cost:
$40.00 for Stingers,
$45.00 for Non-Stingers
All camp
sessions will be
held at the Stinger Gym.
White
Session (9:00 am –
11:30 am daily) is open to kids who will be entering 1st-3rd grade in
the 2015 school year. This camp is great for young players who want
to learn the basics of the game of basketball. They will have a blast
running drills, playing games and competing! The maximum number of
campers for the White Session is 30, so early registration is
encouraged.
Black
Session (1:00 pm –
4:00 pm daily) is open to kids who will be entering 4th-6th grade in
the 2015 school year. This camp will focus on more competitive level
skills such as ball handling, offensive & defensive drills,
rebounding, etc. The kids will be expected to work hard! Day 3 will
conclude with a 4-4 tournament. The maximum number of campers for the
Black Session is 36, so early registration is encouraged.
Gold
Session (5:00 pm –
8:00 pm daily) is open to kids who will be entering 7th-8th grade in
the 2015 school year. This camp will focus on more advance level
skills and those kids playing school basketball. We will focus on
advance ball handling drills, post play, shooting and team
offense/defense. Day 3 will conclude with a 4-4 tournament. The
maximum number of campers for the Gold Session is 36, so early
registration is encouraged.
Each
camper will receive a
FREE Stingers Camp T-shirt if registered by June 14, 2014.
