3 More Wins for the Lady Bowlers

This week included 2 make up matches for the Tigers.  On Thursday Jan. 22 the bowlers took the lanes at McBo’s Lanes against New Breman. The Tigers defeated the Cardinals 2022 to 1550.  High individual games included Hannah Niekamp (222, 170), Megan Ward (188, 181), Heather Bey (185), and McKenzie Berning (202).  “The girls came out and bowled the best they have all year.  They are really starting to mesh as a team and continue to work hard,” said Coach Phlipot.

On Saturday Jan. 24 the Tigers bowled Temple Christian in New Breman.  The Tigers defeated Temple Christian 1932 to 1500. Leading the way for the Lady Tigers was Bridgette Holsapple (209), Hannah Niekamp (177, 181), and Megan Ward (187, 202).

On Saturday afternoon the Tigers took on Van Wert at Speedway Lanes in New Breman. Again the Tigers brought home a win with a score of 2331 to 1693 improving their record to 8-1. Leading the way was Megan Ward (177, 186), Olivia Bruening (175), McKenzie Berning (167), Maggie Hedrick (158), and Bridgette Holsapple (158).  “This week was a good confidence builder.  There is still room for improvement in our baker games and the girls need to continue to put in the hard work to achieve our goals,” said Coach Phlipot.
