Faber Recognizes Cincinnati All-Star Game Organizing Committee

COLUMBUS - Ohio Senate President Keith Faber (R-Celina) today presented a Senate resolution to leaders of the MLB All-Star Game Community Organizing Committee in recognition of their work in coordinating local activities and efforts surrounding the 2015 MLB Cincinnati All-Star Game, which is scheduled to take place on July 14.

"The All-Star Game Community Organizing Committee has gone to great lengths to ensure that this year's All-Star Game will be unforgettable," said Faber. "I look forward to seeing the results of their hard work and planning as baseball fans from around the all world flock to Cincinnati."

Organizing committee co-chairs Melanie Chavez and Mike Sipple accepted the resolution on behalf of the event's organizing committee. The co-chairs brought a baseball that will be put on display at the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame to commemorate the 2015 All-Star Game.

The city of Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Reds will host the 86th Annual Major League Baseball All-Star game at the Great American Ballpark. All-Star Week will feature various events at the ballpark and throughout the region, including the Home Run Derby and the Budweiser All-Star Concert.
