Going 2 Be Me
*i'm letting go
going to let go of it all
am moving on
not going to hang onto
what i can't change
*all on my own
all the while i thought
that i had it all-together
yet i was only
fooling my-own-self .....
i guess it goes to show
that i am so not
a know-it-all
and am not all-knowing
as i had thought.
*on an on and on
i go trying to be something
that i am so not
so i am going
to stay true to who it is i am
on the inside
not trying to be
anybody i aint exactly
*so i am going try
to be all that i can
and not lie nor
try to be anybody
that i am not ...
*so here i stand here
no real answers
just full of so
very many questions-
so here i am
here and today
going to be
something
that i so am not ...
*so all of my days
i will be me
and you be you
so totally and completely myself
for i am uniquely me
and you are uniquely you
truly that is all
you and i can be.
