Promises of Fun Drew In Many
By Naiesha Thobe, Teen Scribe

The First Church of God in Ansonia, Ohio had promises of fun at the event held September 10th. It was dubbed the Outdoor Family Fun Day, hosted for four hours and the public was strongly encouraged to join in on the fun.

The children were taught to shoot a bow and arrow in the archery range, to try their hand with an air rifle, or to try something more difficult: a clay bird range. Also, a fishing contest was held in the pond behind the church with a various amount of prizes given away. Live whitetail fawns were also available to be viewed.

Three raffles were held throughout the day, with different prizes for each age category. Concessions were also available, ranging from venison bratwursts and chili to brownies and cookies.
