Teen Revival
God will put us where He wants us
By Kalista King
With Elizabeth Conway, Brianna Denham and Becca Riffell

I am here today with three of my favorite girls in the whole world. You have heard from all of them in past articles, but I asked them to write to you again together. Their names are Elizabeth Conway, Brianna Denham, and Becca Riffell. These girls have an incredible passion for the Lord and seeing His lost children come to Him. The three of us have been talking a lot about the revival that is taking place here in Darke County, which is very quickly spreading to other areas outside Darke County. Beth, Brianna, and Becca play a huge role in this revival. I frequently talk about Greenville and how God has been working in my school as I see more and more teens coming to Christ and uniting with other believers to pray for their lost peers. Beth can attest to this because she goes to Greenville as well. However, Becca does not go to Greenville; she goes to Ansonia High School where she is the minority. Not many teens in Becca's school share the same passion for God that she has. And as for Brianna, she is presently going to Greenville, but she is being called elsewhere. I will let her explain more about that later. My point is that we believe God has put us and is going to put us all exactly where He wants us to be in order to use us as His tools in this revival. As you hear what each of these girls feel lead to write about, I hope you will get a taste of what is happening here, in our own County.

Elizabeth: Well, I know that Kalista has shared with you before in her past articles about how this revival started. Now I would like to share with you how I first reacted to this thing called "revival." It all began one summer when Kalista called me and told me that she wanted to talk with me and several other girls about something God had laid on her heart. We all met in the park and listened to what Kalista had felt led to say. When she started talking, the first thought I had was, "Wow she is a great speaker," which was also followed by, "This girl is crazy." The reason I had thought she was so crazy was because she began talking about how God had promised her revival in Greenville, and she also made the comment that it would soon spread all around Darke County. I could not believe that there would ever be revival in Greenville, let alone Darke County! A couple weeks later after our meeting in the park I had spent the night at Becca's house which was a huge starting point in which I finally started to believe in revival. Becca began telling me how she was excited for this coming school year to begin because she had decided to step out in faith and make a difference in her school even though she knew she was probably the only Christian there. At the moment she said that, I felt as if God was showing me that this revival was not just a "dream" of Kalista's but it was real and it was coming! About three weeks after that, I saw Kalista at school and told her about my experience with Becca and that I wanted to know more about what God had told her. The next day we got together and talked a lot about it, and from there, we decided to start a Bible study three times a week which soon turned out to become our group of F2F. During those times of prayer, we would pray for our school, we would pray for our peers and teachers in our school, and we also prayed that our group would become bigger which was how F2F started. It's been about a year and a half since I had first heard of this thing called "revival" and I can say that God has definitely showed Himself to us in many incredible ways since then. Revival has spread throughout our school in ways I never thought possible, and I can see it going all throughout Darke County! My view on the power of God has changed drastically from seeing all that He has done through this revival and even what He has done in my life. I can honestly say He has revived my heart, and I will never be the same girl I once was. I encourage everyone to keep their eyes open to what God can do, because He is definitely working! Thanks for reading!

Brianna: I've decided to start out with a verse for everyone today. It's John 1:29 and it says, "Behold, it is the Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the WORLD" (caps added). Something very important is stated here, and it's the word "world." Something God has really shown me is that He is in the redeeming business right now and that means working everywhere on this earth. As Kalista said, He's leading me to places I never really ever considered, but I do know that His plans are already written out for me and everything works out for the good of those who love Him. I rest assured that His plans for not only me but also you are to prosper you, not to harm you, and to give you hope for the future (Jer. 29:11). He leads us to ultimately one thing, and that's to Him- to live and work for Him anywhere and any time He tells us. I really want this to be an encouragement to those who feel God calling them to places they never thought He would, and I want to remind you that it is a great time to perfect your faith in Him and to stand on His amazing promises. God doesn't lie; He's incapable of that, so whatever He says is automatically a promise. He's wanting, desiring, and leading you to stand on Him harder than ever. God has called me to move to Tipp City with the family I am currently living with. This has honestly been a very scary thing for me to go through, but I know His plans are amazing. He will bring me so much more closer to Him, and it all starts with me accepting the call to follow. He promises that it is more than worth it. I believe that with all my heart, and I hope you can too. Thank you for reading this, I pray it helps!

Becca: As Kalista said, I am the minority at my school. To be totally honest, it is not easy at all! Actually, it is extremely hard. For a while now God has been working in me and showing me that He is just getting started with this revival! As I said in the last article, I have attended a conference called Jesus Culture two times now. At Jesus Culture, the mission is to awaken a generation of revivalist ready to change the world.  Ever since attending the conference, where I experienced people getting healed physically as well as some getting evangelized over, I have realized my power and authority in Christ and have prayed that He would bring the power and authority here to Darke County. And as always, He has been faithful in doing that. He has used me to lead the "Untangled" girls retreat with Beth, where so many hearts were touched, and He has continually been laying visions for our youth: not just Greenville or just Ansonia, but all of the youth of Darke County. Be prepared because GREAT things are getting ready to happen!
