While I’m not unfamiliar with the ideological challenges some parents face when sending their kids off to some colleges, “The $50,000 Orgasm” by Dennis Prager blew me away. It is a must read… and a “must” consideration as your son or daughter begins the search for the “right” college. After you read that – and your blood pressure drops to a reasonable  level – check out this week’s Family Events. In News: Obama Has ‘Failed to Lead’ on Spending Cuts, Democratic Senator Says; and Ohio foes ponder merit pay’s fairness. Blogs: Union Myths; and How to Shut Down the Government.
