Report Cards
Ohio School Report Cards are a way to see how your child’s school is
performing. They are designed to help give parents and communities an
annual update on the variety of components that together show how well
students are learning, growing and achieving. An A to F grading scale
shows where your child’s school is succeeding, as well as areas that
need improvement.
Main categories are K-3 Literacy, Progress, Achievement, Gap Closing,
Graduation Rate and Prepared for Success.
Editor’s Note: Ohio has changed its grading measurements over time.
This is the most recent and it has been noted that changing guidelines
have been tough on some school districts. Parents and community members
may wish to discuss grading concerns with their local school districts
to understand local, as well as state, evaluations.
