Robert J. McGlinch
Robert J. McGlinch, 88, of Greenville passed away on October 24, 2015
at 1:40 am at Heartland Nursing Home in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born July 8, 1927 to Robert and Vergie (York) McGlinch in
Greenville, Ohio
Robert served in the US Air Force and retired from General Motors in
Vandalia, Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife
Lois Jean (Hangen); son, Craig; granddaughter, Rachel McGlinch;
great-grandson, Alec Pohlman; sister, Ruth Lucas and brother, Paul
McGlinch.
He is survived by his 2nd wife, Jane (Stoner); children, Pamela (John)
Cook and Steven (Patti) McGlinch; daughter-in-law, Linda McGlinch;
step-daughter, Jennifer (Tim) McKenney; sister, Martha (Galen) Dickey;
grandchildren, Stacey (Dan) Pohlman, Katie (Chad) Plieman, Heather
(Greg) Zechar, Amy (Chad) Beanblossom, and Lindsey McGlinch; step
grandchildren, Brian (Lorie) McKenney and Emily McKenney; nine
great-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Tuesday, October 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Zechar
Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Todd Reish
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial
Gardens. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service
at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions
may be made to Cancer Association of Darke County.
