Betty Ann Meyers
Betty Ann Meyers, age 84, of Greenville passed away at 9:45 P.M. on
Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at her residence. Betty was born May 5, 1931
in Miami County, Ohio to the late Fred & Opal (Hunt) Westfall.
Betty is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, Robert & Tammy
Meyers of Greenville; daughter, Jane Bannon of Dayton; 3 grandchildren;
5 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her
husband, Raymond E. “Ray” Meyers on January 14, 2014 whom she married
February 6, 1954; and sisters, Gladys Thomas, Dorothy Ferguson, Pauline
Canan and Mary Brown.
Betty retired as a traffic controller in 1986 from Fram Corporation in
Greenville where she had worked for 25 years. Betty attended the EUM
Church in Greenville.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 18, 2016
at Zechar Bailey funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Sylvia McKibben
officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park in Covington.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and
Monday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Memorial
contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
