Jerald D. “Fluke” Campbell

Jerald D. “Fluke” Campbell, age 78 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 11:15 A.M. Friday January 22, 2016 at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center of Greenville.  He was born April 10, 1937 in Greenville and the son of the late Donna M. (Linder) Campbell.

Jerald was retired following a military career. He began service in the U.S. Marine Corp and then served nearly fifteen years in the U.S. Air Force.   He was the former owner of the Campbell Apple Farm in Ansonia.  He was a member of the Greenville V.F.W. and Ansonia American Legion.

In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by his sister Judith D. Hawkey September 20, 2015.

Jerald is survived by his brothers Gene (Donna) Campbell of Lexington, KY, Joe Campbell and friend Cindy of Centerville, Ohio, John (Barbara) Campbell Fairborn and Richard “Butch” Campbell of Ansonia as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Private Graveside Services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Greenville Township Memorial Garden with Pastor Ron Hoeksema officiating.  Full Military honors will be presented by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard.

It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
