Ann J. Hollingsworth
Ann J. Hollingsworth, age 83, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away at 3:40
AM on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at State of the Heart Hospice Care
Center in Greenville. Ann was born June 21, 1933, in Dayton, Ohio, to
the late H. Emerson & Arabelle I. (Freeman) Crites.
Ann is survived by her children, Marie & Bill Todd of Versailles,
Dale Hollingsworth of Russia, Cindy Hollingsworth of Versailles and Sue
& Scott Waldren of Arcanum; grandchildren, Shawn & Brian
Heindl, Jared & Brianna Waldren and Andrea Waldren & Jody
Taylor; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, William Crites of Amherst,
Virginia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ann was also preceded in death by her
husband, Robert I. Hollingsworth; sisters, Mary Grilliot, Carol Freeman
and Gail Schlater; and brother, Robert Crites.
Ann retired from the Versailles Post Office where she was a mail
carrier. She attended the Webster United Methodist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 6,
2016, at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor David
Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park in
Covington. The family will receive friends on Monday from 3:00 to 7:00
PM and Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. In
lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Versailles
Emergency Medical Services or State of the Heart Care.
