Rutschilling
Bonnie M. Strait Rutschilling, age 91, of Greenville, OH, passed away,
Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Brookdale of Greenville.
She was born Sunday, April 5, 1925 in Rossburg, OH, a daughter of the
late Charles and Minnie (Gates) Hiestand. In addition to her
parents,she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gerald Strait
in 1973; second husband, Vincent Rutschilling in 2002; daughters,
Barbara Miller and Linda Funk; brothers, Charles,Russell and Melvin
Hiestand; sisters, Eileen Moody, Rose Amstutz, Lily Garrison and Helen
Orr.
Bonnie was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She
enjoyed playing cards, gardening and canning.
Bonnie is survived by her step children, Robert Rutschilling and
Phyllis Doll of Coldwater, OH and Linda (Ken) Woester of Celina;
son-in-law, Steve Miller of Rossburg; brother, Nevin Hiestand; sister,
Betty Schambach; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces
and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12 PM on Thursday, September
15, 2016 at Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with David Monroe
officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends may visit Thursday, from 11 AM to 12 PM at the
funeral home.
