Ida a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to everyone she met.  A loving caregiver of Tom the love of her life.  Ida passed away on Monday August 6, 2018 at 5:30 PM at the Village Green Healthcare Campus.  She passed peacefully surrounded by family, friends & staff.  She was born February 22, 1932 on the family farm east of Greenville, mom was a loving homemaker who would tackle any home repair, a bowler, gardener, she loved her flowers, liked to mow the yard; she enjoyed the outdoors; she liked traveling when she got the opportunity with Pop, and vacations with family after he was gone; she enjoyed family gatherings with the grandchildren & great grandchildren.  She never met a stranger and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church; the Moose and Eagles Lodges of Greenville.

Ida is preceded in death by her parents:  Vernon & Bertha Garber; her husband: Thomas Klosterman; brothers:  Virgil, Paul, & Ezra Garber; sisters:  Opal Bayer, & Eva (Myers) Shuttleworth; brothers in law:  George Bayer, Harold Myers, Virgil Clyde, Jerry & Bob Klosterman; sisters in law:  Donna Garber, Margaret Klosterman, Virginia Henderson, Joan Pence.

Ida married Thomas Klosterman on February 23rd, 1952, and together they had 7 sons:  Ron (Kay) Klosterman, Dan (Patty) Klosterman, Virgil (Tonya) Klosterman, Pat (Susan) Klosterman, Mark (Suzanne) Klosterman, Rich (Georgianna) Klosterman, Brian (Misty) Klosterman; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers in law & sisters in law:  Norman (Dorothy) Klosterman, Donald Klosterman, Kenneth Pence (special friend); sisters in law & brothers in law:  Marlyn & George Forshee, Marcella (Bob) Downey, Mary Whittington, Mildred Garber; special friend and cousin Ellen Magriff; numerous nieces & nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday August 10, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 233 West Third Street, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Fr. John White Celebrant.  Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday August 9, 2018 and from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Friday August 10, 2018 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.  Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care or St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
