Oma Eileen McNutt

Oma Eileen McNutt, age 86, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 1:30 AM at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio.  She was born on June 22, 1931 in Harrison Township, Ohio, to the late Albert & Ruth (Eubanks) Hetzler.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Andrew Melbo) Dapore of Greenville; sons and daughter in law, Rod & Deb (Fornshil) McNutt of Wayne Lakes, Ohio, and Wayne (Cheryl West) McNutt of Greenville; grandchildren, Kirk McNutt, Kelli Brown, Kevin McNutt, Jermey Godown, Greg Godown, Maggie Salem, Jamie Welch, Adam Dapore, Brenda Borgerding and Kathy Arden; 38 great grandchildren; 30 great great grandchildren; brother, Gary Hetzler of Tennessee; sister, Karen Coppock of Arcanum; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard McNutt; infant granddaughter McNutt; sisters, Phyllis A. Shell and Alice Hale; son in law, Ed Dapore; daughters in law, Mary Louise McNutt and Cheryl McNutt; as well as numerous brothers in law and sisters in law.

Oma retired from Ed Cornell’s in Greenville after 31 years of service.  She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Greenville where she was involved with the Women’s Gild. 

There will be a service held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Rev. Dr. Jim Vandermark officiating.  Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio.  Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

It is the wishes of the family that memorial contributions be given to St. Paul United Church of Christ, State of the Heart Care or Donor’s Choice.
