Connie May (Hale) Yoder

Connie May (Hale) Yoder, 71, of Greenville, passed away on January 29, 2018 at her residence.

Connie was born on November 4, 1946 in Greenville, the daughter of the late Junior and Alice Hale.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Yoder, whom she married December 26, 1964; her daughter, Kim Widener; and two sisters.

Connie was always a tomboy and as she got older, her love of motors and machines took over. In her youth, Connie was known to participate in illegal drag races down State highway 571. She enjoyed motorcycle rides with Frank and truly missed them after he passed. She also loved drag racing and cars. Connie was a great cook and loved to prepare a meal for her guests. She was a kind woman and took in every kid as her own. She will especially be missed by her bed buddy, Angus the cat.

Connie is survived by her children, Scott and Amanda Yoder, of Greenville, Kelly and David Eikenberry of Greenville, and Tracy and James Redman of Phillipsburg; Her grandson, Scotty and Rachel Yoder of Greenville; and her brother, Steve Hale of Greenville. She is also survived by numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Funeral services have been entrusted to Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville campus.
