Gary B. Foureman

Gary B. Foureman, age 80, of Greenville passed away at 12:35 PM on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Village Green in Greenville.

Gary was born July 30, 1937, in Darke County to the late Berman W. & Lucille (Hill) Foureman. In addition to his parents, Gary was also preceded in death by his wife, Sue Ann (Sayers) Foureman on July 13, 2013, whom he married January 28, 1956.

Gary is survived by his children, John & Melissa Foureman of Greenville, Linda & David Dickinson of Mechanicsburg, Connie Stollar of Greenville and Paul Foureman of Cleveland; grandchildren, Daniel & Jessica Foureman, Katie & James Light, Jennifer & Rob Collins, Kendra & Chris Brewer, Rachel & Matt Sullivan and Kacey Stollar; great-grandchildren, Larissa, Alexandria & Elijah Foureman, Lydia Light, Norah & Madison Collins, Kole Stollar, Klaira & Josie Brewer, and Audree Sullivan; brothers & sisters-in-law, Kermit & Mary Foureman of New Madison, Richard & Nancy Foureman of Greenville and Doug Foureman of Piqua; sister, Kathy Good of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gary owned and operated Foureman’s Sand and Gravel Company in Greenville. Gary was a member of Stelvideo Christian Church, Greenville Masonic Lodge No. 143, Antioch Shrine Mason of Dayton, and the Darke County Shrine Club. Gary was a Trustee for Greenville Township for over 20 years, and served on the Greenville Cemetery Board and Greenville Area Rescue Board.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Tracy Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Stelvideo Christian Church.
