James R. “Vern” Rinderle

James R. “Vern” Rinderle, age 55, passed away at 3:16 PM on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville.

James was born August 1, 1962, in Coldwater to Virginia Mae (Marchal) Rinderle of Versailles and the late James D. “Beaver” Rinderle.

In addition to his mother, James is survived by his daughter & son-in-law, Chassity & Ryan Holscher of Greenville; brothers & sister, Francis & Rita Rinderle of Willowdell, Mick & Beck Rinderle of Greenville, Kenny Rinderle of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, Jenny Lou & George Kuether of Willowdell and Chris Rinderle of Gettysburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

James graduated in 1981 from Ansonia High School. He formerly worked at Wagner Paving in Laura for 20 years. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles. James loved racing sprint cars and go-karts. He loved spending time at Eldora Speedway; loved shooting pool, fishing and spending his time outdoors working on anything he could get his hands on.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. Jim Simons celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Care.
