It's Strange
By Mona Lease

Hi, all!! This time around I'm just giving you readers some things to consider. I am personally tired of "gun control"...Russian hacking and the like. Consider...

"It's Strange: It's strange how $20 seems like such a large amount when you donate it to a church, but such a small amount when you go shopping. It's strange how two hours seems so long at church and how short they seem when you're watching a good movie. It's strange that you can't find words to say when you're praying, but you have no trouble thinking what to talk about with a friend. It's strange how difficult it is to read one chapter of the Bible, but how easy it is to read a popular novel. It's strange how everyone wants front-row tickets to concerts, but they want to sit in the last row at church. It's strange how we need to know about an event for church 2-3 weeks before the day so we can adjust it for other events in the last minute? It's strange how difficult it is to learn a fact about God and share it with others, but it's easy to repeat gossip. It's strange how we believe everything that magazines and newspapers say, but we question the words in the Bible." - KJV 1611

"When a toxic person can no longer control you, they will try to control how others see you. The misinformation will seem hurtful, but stay above it, trusting that other people will eventually see the truth just like you did." - Unknown

Posted by a teacher at a local high school: "Six of my students just talked all the way through the moment of silence for the dead students. And ya'll think an inanimate object is the problem. Culture is the problem. Our music celebrates drugs, rape, gangs, and murder. Our movies make millions off of crime and murder and gun fights. We teach the children they can do no wrong, then bash the law and order and teach them to hate authority. Society created this.' - Charlene Wilson Scharf

"Attitude of Inspiration: As you are shifting, you'll begin to realize you are not the same person you used to be. The things you used to tolerate have now become intolerable. Where you once remained quiet, you are now speaking the truth. Where you once battled and argued, you are now choosing to remain silent. You are beginning to understand the value of your voice and there are some situations that no longer deserve your time, energy and focus." - soulseeds

"The best thing you could do is MASTER the chaos in you. You are not thrown into the fire. YOU ARE THE FIRE." - Mama Indigo

"You need Power only when you want to do something harmful. Otherwise Love is enough to get everything done." - Charlie Chaplin

"Fake people are nice only when it's convenient for them or they usually have a hidden agenda. Genuinely nice people usually go out of their way to help others and they have an honest heart. Stick with the ones who never let you down and keep their promises. You can't fake that." - Peace, Love and Everything Else

"Whenever I'm having a bad day, I just stop and remind myself: at least I don't have my Ex's name tattooed on my body." - Halos and Horns Fun Page

"Take care of you because if you died today, your job would be posted online before your obituary." - Trel Robinson

"Never trust a girl who doesn't fart. Hard tellin' what else she's holdin' back from you." - Halos and Horns Fun Page

"It doesn't get easier, you get stronger." - Halos and Horns Fun Page

"There is but one straight course, and that is to seek truth and pursue it steadily." - George Washington

"You can never make the same mistake twice because the second time you make it, it's not a mistake, it's a choice." - Trend Addict

"Dearly Beloved: We are gathered here today to get through this thing called Life." - Prince

Remember the kiddies and our service people. Take good care of the furry and feathered ones out there. Be safe and healthy. See ya next time. Ever Toodles!! MONA
